Two time winner of the ISSLS Prize with more than 150 peer reviewed presentations and publications. Former professor of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, former professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albany Medical College, former research scientist at the Stratton VA Medical Center, currently Director of the Health Innovations Incubator & Technology Center.

Board certified attending spinal neurosurgeon with 30 years surgical experience. Professor and Department Chair, Department of Neurosurgery, The Albany Medical College. Conducts 250 to 300 complex spinal reconstruction procedures per year.
